Rules

Official FIBA 3x3 rules

The tournament follows the official FIBA 3x3 2026 rulebook: games to 21 points or 10 minutes, official Wilson 3x3 ball (size 6, weight 7), one referee per court, 12-second shot clock. Ties are resolved with a single extra point (no overtime).

  • 12-second shot clock, no time-outs
  • 1 point inside the arc, 2 points behind it
  • Live substitutions, no stoppage
  • First to 21 or top of the clock — most points wins

Tournament schedule

Three days of street basketball

  1. Fri 27 Jun · Afternoon

    Accreditations and open practice

    16:00–20:00 · Pick up accreditations, bibs and test the official ball on the main court.

  2. Sat 28 Jun · Morning

    Group stage

    10:00–14:00 · 8 groups × 4 teams. Games every 25 minutes on the two parallel courts.

  3. Sat 28 Jun · Afternoon

    Round of 16 and quarters

    16:00–20:30 · Single elimination. Live DJ between games.

  4. Sun 29 Jun · Afternoon

    Semis and final

    17:00–20:00 · Dunk contest at half-time. Closing ceremony and awards at the end.

Two FIBA 3x3 official courts set up in the historic centre. Free access for the public, stands for 1,800 spectators, courtside live broadcast.
